Hello, we are managing the company Gecktoe Grip, which develop slip-resistant shoes.

Everyone has an experience that slipped on the ground because of the rain or snow, or the slippery substances like grease. This may be an insignificant accident, but it can be very dangerous if you injured important body parts such as waist or head. In order to prevent this unfortunate accident, we designed the shoes which are excellent at slip-resistance. The suckers of the gecko's feet are shaped to have strong friction and adhesion. We were inspired by this idea, and we designed the shoes in a similar structure. But it does not interfere with normal walking activities. It is made of new material rubber, and each block is segmented to provide flexibility and grip force. And it ensures rapid drainage to prevent water film phenomena.

In a slip-resistance test conducted by the KOSHA (Korea Occupational Safety Health Agency), we were ranked in 1st. We also received very low level in terms of slip risk in the test in UK and U.S.. Currently, we have developed a variety of different types of shoes like golf shoes, hiking boots, running shoes, safety shoes, and bathroom shoes. So they are available for your own personal use. Our company is holding patents of slip-resistance. In addition, we won the gold prize at the Women's International Invention Contest, and a special prize at the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
